Its been a long time

since I've blogged. Its been a rough couple of months but I think things are finally on the upswing. I hope anyway. A break from trials for a time would be nice!

There are days

when I just think I can't do this anymore. I've been struggling with some personal challenges. I am unhappy. Nothing seems to be going right and I just don't know how much more I can take. I have no one to lighten the burden. I sit in the midst of chaos - the house is a disaster. My boys are lazy, their father is lazy. I just don't know how much more I can take. 20 years of this and it still doesn't get better.

I'm still here

just in case anyone is wondering. Its been a rough couple of months. Going through some personal issues, missing my mom and best friend, starting a new job which takes so much out of me physically that I have little left over to take care of my family...........but I'm still here.

Crazy - as always

Its been a hectic month. Being back home and trying to get in the swing of life around here has been challenging. Unfortunately being back in this climate has sent my fibromyalgia flaring. But I'm pressing on and probably pushing myself too hard. There is just SO much that has to be done! I finally finished the coursework for one independent study class today and I need to take the final. In my second independent study class I have 3 lessons, a research paper, a unit exam and the final. I need to have all that finished by 8/31/11 - a month! I can do it. So far I haven't had any luck finding a part time job so I have the time to push myself. I just have to do it.

In the midst of all this we are preparing to move. We are hopefully listing the house for sale this week and when it sells we are off to a new adventure in North Carolina! Jim wants to go back to school and found a master's program at Wake Forest he is interested in. It just feels like the right thing to do and we are all excited to go. Just need to take care of this pesky piece of real estate first!

and she's back!

I enjoyed my classes in Utah but I'm very happy to be home! My husband was awesome. He took care of everything with help from my daughter. I missed him so very much!!! He is the love of my life and I couldn't be more grateful to have him in my life!!

16 Days

until I begin my new adventure taking classes on campus again and living with a roommate. Its been a long time! I am excited but also a little sad to be leaving my family. I know I will miss them but it will be nice to not have to be the one in charge and dealing with everything for a little while. I'm looking forward to the chance to focus on my classes and recharge my very depleted personal batteries. I love Provo and I can't wait to go back.
